General
Banshees are a subspecies that are regarded with quite a lot of suspicion and mistrust. They herald disasters and death, meaning most clans avoid them as much as possible.
While it is true that they are the messengers of misfortune, they are simply that: messengers. They have no hand in the calamities that trail them, even though it may appear that destruction follows in their wake. In reality, they wander the land, following paths of energy only they can sense, trying to warn those in the path of danger.
They are beings of electricity; they are purely disturbances in electric fields, semi-solid spirits hovering on the edge of two worlds. No one is quite sure why they feel such an overpowering need to warn those in danger, though where they're understood, they are respected and heeded.
